Hanami Social was born from firsthand experience building the systems that power social media distribution. Before founding the agency, Matt Hannan spent years as a Senior Software Engineer at Meta, working directly on the Facebook and Instagram Reels publishing infrastructure — the systems that power how content gets distributed to audiences across both platforms.
Meta Engineering Background
Matt worked directly on the publishing systems for Facebook and Instagram Reels at Meta. He holds a US Patent Application for a video reformatting technology developed during his time at the company.
